Web CMS Requirements

This document details and prioritizes the specific Web CMS features and functions required by the campus, as formulated and agreed upon by the Requirements and Evaluation committee. These requirements were defined in consideration of the goals of the Web CMS initiative and the stakeholders that will participate in their accomplishment, and will be employed in the formal evaluation of candidate solutions. In addition, this document describes the processes employed to identify the campus's requirements, the criteria used to qualify candidate solutions for participation in the demonstration process, and the methods used to quantify the suitability of each solution to the campus's needs.

Product Demonstration: Vendor Assignments

As a critical component of the effort, the project's Requirements and Evaluation committee seeks to review and evaluate select pre-qualified Web CMS solutions, and will use its assessment to develop and document recommendations that will be provided to the project team and steering committee. To gather necessary background, the Requirements and Evaluation committee is inviting specific vendors to provide non-committal, informational product demonstrations.

The purpose of the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template, or VPAT™, is to assist Federal contracting officials and other buyers in making preliminary assessments regarding the availability of commercial "Electronic and Information Technology" products and services with features that support accessibility.

Implementation committee assessment

Comprehensive evaluation and endorsement of the selected product by the implementation committee, framed by the goals and objectives set forth in the UC Davis Web CMS Initiative as well as the specific functional and technical requirements defined in earlier phases of the project.
